Children’s Policy Branch is seeking a number of Administrative Officers to support activities under Safe and Supported: The National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children.
While the roles are able to be located in available regional and state Department of Social Services offices, travel to the National Office in Tuggeranong may be required.
The Branch is seeking energetic, motivated and experienced Administrative Officers with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work under pressure in a high profile and fast paced environment.
The roles are in the following sections working on the Safe and Supported Action Plans:
- The Workforce and Wellbeing section’s manages activities focusing on the child and family sector workforce and on the safety and wellbeing of Australian children, young people, parents and carers.
- The Evidence and Reporting section provides clerical, procedural and coordination tasks, for Children’s Policy Branch.
- The Accountability and System Leadership governance team provides coordination and Secretariat functions for the inter-governmental Community Services Ministers meeting and a number of decision- making committees and working groups.
