About the Role
The Rostering Officer works with the operations team to optimising our workforce by appropriate rostering and shift allocations. The role involves delivering excellent customer service through regular contact with the workforce and the operations team.
Duties include
- Produce workforce and customer rosters from available information systems
- Maintain accurate workforce and customer information within the rostering system
- Manage workforce and external agency relationships to ensure customer service standards are upheld
- Predict and prepare for workforce and budget changes
- Provide fortnightly and monthly reports
- Conduct regular audits to identify trends and anomalies
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in rostering/scheduling processes and strategies
- Experience in using a workforce utilisation software program
- Capable of developing strong working relationships with the workforce
- A keen eye for detail; ensuring the rostering system effectively meets the requirements of the services
- Ability to solve problems and an ability to think on your feet; managing and coordinating last minute changes
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel
- High level of analytics ability to understand workforce data, and report it in a way that is meaningful and relevant for evidence-based decision-making
