The Role
The Training Coordination Supervisor will supervise and support a small team of civilian and military members providing administrative support to the Australian Defence Force Warfare Training Centre (ADFWTC).
You will manage course coordination activities for a variety of joint planning courses. These activities will see you interact with a wide variety of stakeholders within the ADO. You will provide timely advice to your supervisor on existing or emerging concerns. You will work with these stakeholders in order to facilitate the attendance of international and domestic visitors, lectures and students to meet course starting deadlines.
You will assist with the management of the ADFWTC budget in accordance with legislation regulations and departmental policy include processing of travel documentation.
You will manage strict deadlines for courses conducted both internally and externally to ADFWTC.
About our Team
The Australian Defence Force Warfare Training Centre (ADFWTC), located on RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle, is responsible for the provision of Joint individual training for the Australian Defence Organisation (ADO), Other Government Agencies and selected foreign students. The Centre also assists with the training of Joint headquarters staff for operations and is structured to provide job-specific training in the concepts of joint warfare. Approximately 30 courses are run during the year, reaching approximately two thousand students.
The Training Coordination Supervisor will be part of a specialised team of training professionals who conduct Joint training, will be in a supportive team environment, and will have opportunities for professional development.
