Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) Headquarters seeks a proactive and strategic individual to join our Workforce and Culture Team. This role will work in tandem with the Deputy Director Workforce & Strategy, developing sophisticated workforce strategies that underpin Defence’s and JCG strategic and operational goals. You will be charged with the development and fine-tuning of workforce plans, ensuring they are robust, forward-thinking, and fully integrated with workforce and cultural reform across the group.In a role that is both analytical and relational, you will serve as a vital connector across Commands, Divisions, and Elements channelling efforts to drive and synchronise workforce initiatives and plans. Your work will be pivotal in driving our Group forward, demanding a high calibre of planning, foresight, and the ability to weave together diverse threads into a unified strategy. Headquarters Joint Capability Group (JCG) provides high level support to the three star Group Head, the Chief of Joint Capabilities (CJC), by directing and coordinating Group operations across a range of functions. Headquarters JCG works closely with the Divisions and Commands within JCG and also the other Groups within Defence to contribute to JCG and Defence wide outcomes. The JCG Future Workforce & Strategy Officer will work as an integral part of the Workforce and Culture team within Headquarters JCG. This position will work closely with the Workforce Officers across the Group.Our Ideal Candidate
