About the Role:

The APS3 Participant Support Officer is responsible for providing front line reception duties and operational administration support for the Cairns branch.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and online support.
• Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
• Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are accessible for participants.
• Preparing, editing, and distributing correspondence and reports
• Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
• Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the system

Skills and experience required:

We strongly encourage your application should you have demonstrated the below skills and / or capabilities

• Demonstrated success providing high level front of house and clerical support in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Confident in the resolution of conflict and complaints
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Sound decision-making and problem solving abilities
• As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, only Australian Citizens need to apply
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment checks, including National Criminal History Check upon successful appointment
