About the Role:
The APS3 Participant Support Officer is responsible for providing front line reception duties and operational administration support for the Cairns branch.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and online support.
- Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
- Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are accessible for participants.
- Preparing, editing, and distributing correspondence and reports
- Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
- Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the system
Skills and experience required:
We strongly encourage your application should you have demonstrated the below skills and / or capabilities
- Demonstrated success providing high level front of house and clerical support in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Confident in the resolution of conflict and complaints
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound decision-making and problem solving abilities
- As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, only Australian Citizens need to apply
- Willingness to undertake pre-employment checks, including National Criminal History Check upon successful appointment
