Our client is seeking to engage an APS4 Digital Adoption Support Officer on a contract for 7 months, with 2 X 6 months extension option.
Role Description: A Digital Adoption Support Officer (DASO) is responsible for helping healthcare provider organisations navigate the process of registering for the national Health Record system and Provider Connect Australia (PCA), and new products that are developed. These healthcare provider organisations will predominantly be specialists (e.g. cardiologists, respirologists), aged care, pharmacy or allied health working in small-to-medium sized private practices. However, this work may extend to other sectors, including community health organisations and private hospitals.
Responsibilities will include: Lead generation and follow-up
Cold calling healthcare provider organisations to inquire whether they’d be interested in registering for MHR or PCAActioning warm leads received from others, by calling healthcare providers organisations who have previously expressed an interest in registering for MHR or PCAManaging and responding to inbound queries received via email, and answering calls and assisting with the registration process of the agency’s products. Registration supportWalking practice managers (or other representatives of the healthcare provider organisations) step-by-step over the phone through the online and offline form filling processes and other steps involved in MHR registration and PCA registration processes. Liaising, on behalf of the healthcare provider organisation, with other parties involved in the registration process (e.g. Services Australia, the vendor of the clinical information system used by the organisation) to trouble-shoot and ensure the end-to-end registration process is successfulManaging email correspondence with the healthcare provider organisation and any other parties involved in the registration processResponding to questions, and distributing information to interested partiesEducationDeliver ad hoc education and training about MHR and PCA, including how it works, the benefits of using it, and the registration process, to internal and external stakeholdersData entry and administrative supportEntering and maintaining data in the Agency’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemAssisting in the setup of CRM dashboards to support reportingSupport the Project Manager and Program Director with periodic reporting relating to MHR registration activityEssential Skills / Experience:Friendly, outgoing phone manner and willingness to do both outbound cold calling and inbound call handlingGood oral and written communication skillsGood familiarity with ExcelDesirable Skills / Experience:Experience in the healthcare sectorExperience working in a government call centre or help desk environmentFamiliarity with medical practice management software would be highly regardedEligibility requirements:Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the AgencyAbility to obtain and maintain national police check.
