Aps6 Team Leader

Your new position:
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in upholding robust and efficient leadership while overseeing the daily functions of a customer-focused team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end processing of customer applications, which involves interpreting legislation, policies, and regulations to make informed decisions on cases while ensuring top-notch customer service.

• Coordinate competing demands and contribute to resource planning.
• Set workload and resource allocation priorities, managing team or office work flow.
• Provide expert advice on eligibility matters, utilising a comprehensive understanding of Legislation, Policy, and Processes.
• Apply evaluative judgement to service delivery, bringing together various options.
• Cultivate a collaborative, interactive, and positive work environment.
• Lead by example, employing innovative approaches to enhance service delivery.
• Work autonomously, exercising discretion and initiative.
• Facilitate team performance and output by setting tasks and priorities aligned with business needs.
• Support junior staff development through coaching and resource accessibility.

Your Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience in the following to be successful:

• Background in leading large operational teams of customer service staff is highly desirable
• Experience interpreting and applying legislation

What You’ll Receive

• $57.95 per hour plus super
• Contract until 31 December with potential for extension
• Brisbane CBD location (office based position)
