The Role
The role involves assessing applications for compliance with legislative criteria within Scheme, educating scheme participants on legislative requirements, and developing strategic relationships with stakeholders.
Additionally, it entails contributing to risk management and decision-making processes, leading a sub-team of project assessors, and researching project methodologies for continuous improvement. You will:

To be the ideal candidate you will have a solid background in regulatory compliance and team management. Excel in communication, leadership, and problem-solving, driving effective engagement with stakeholders and leading teams to achieve organisational goals in promoting clean energy and reducing carbon emissions.
- Demonstrated experience in decision making under complex regulatory legislation is essential
- Experience in managing a team in a technical assessment environment is essential
- Experience that demonstrates the ability to quickly understand technical/scientific legislation similar to ACCU Scheme methodologies is highly desirable
- Experience in using mapping tools and other data sources to support legislative decision making is desirable
- Experience in engaging with IT system improvement and development to support regulatory decision making is desirable
- Experience using geospatial data software, such as ArcGIS Pro is desirable
- Qualifications in environmental science, forestry, natural resource management or ecology is desirable
- $60p/h - $75 p/h + Superannuation
