We're in search of an ambitious Architect or a Graduate of Architecture to contribute to the evolution of our standout Commercial facilities. Collaborate with a team dedicated to crafting designs that showcase outstanding amenities and leave a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Design: Contribute innovative and fresh design ideas for our commercial spaces, ensuring each resort Country Club has a unique and distinguishable character.
- Environmental Sensitivity: Utilize the environment as a source of inspiration, while being mindful of the energy required for construction and operations.
- Architectural Proficiency: Ideally a registered architect with proficiency in ArchiCAD, capable of designing practical and award-winning spaces. Haute Couture equivalent in architecture, combining aesthetics with buildability.
- Collaborative Excellence: Work closely with team members, departments, and consultants to refine design concepts, adhering to strict timelines and delivering projects to the highest standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Design and Drafting: Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD, with experience in creating detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D models.
- Commercial Design: Demonstrated flair for creating commercially viable and visually appealing spaces.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of local building codes, regulations, NCC, Australian Standards, and Local Government regulations.
- Communication Skills: Effective collaboration and communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse complex design challenges and develop creative and practical solutions.
- Sustainable Design: Knowledge of sustainable design principles and experience incorporating energy-efficient features into residential projects is highly desirable.
Requirements:
- 1-5 years' experience in high-end commercial, public works, and/or hospitality market.
- Previous experience in the Building Approval process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite is essential.
- Proficiency in Lumion or similar visualization software.
- Experience with urban design/master planning is helpful.
