The Role
As an Area Manager at Lowes, you will oversee 6-8 stores across Brisbane, taking responsibility for managing their profitability and performance. This position is ideal for a Senior Store Manager or Cluster Manager looking to advance their career and take on greater responsibilities in a thriving retail environment.
We are looking for someone who is results focused and will help set and drive targets, coach our store managers and look for opportunities for business growth. This is a hands-on and fast paced role that will see you leading your teams from the front, whilst receiving the support and mentorship from the business to facilitate your career progression.
What are you accountable for?
- Motivating and guiding Store Managers to drive sales.
- Ensure efficient operation of stores within your area, including KPI’s, stock levels, wages and shrinkage.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to store managers and team members
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to growth and development
- Ensure all stores are maintaining visual merchandising standards to maximise sales potential.
- Recruiting and developing the right people.
- Understand and ensure Company Policies and Procedures are adhered to within your stores.

What will make you successful:
- Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or Cluster Manager within the apparel retail sector.
- Previous experience managing in high-volume stores.
- Have an empowering leadership style.
- In-depth knowledge of apparel retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
- A thorough understanding of KPI’s.
- Strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of delivering results.

- Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills.
