Area Manager (Civil & Earthworks)

Our Tier 1 EPCM client seeks an experienced Area Manager to work on a major project, Perth based on an initial 12-month contract.

They will be asking you to provide engineering design expertise for a major sustaining project for an existing mine of a Tier 1 mining company. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage and execute civil earthworks projects.
• Working alongside a multidisciplinary high-performing team.
• Oversee works, manage the client, and ensure key project deliverables of cost, time and quality are met.

• Minimum job duration of 18 months with high potential for extension beyond the initial 12 months.
• Flexible working hours allowing customization of start and end times.
• Empowerment to take ownership of tasks and projects.
• Supportive and friendly team environment

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience working on civil earthworks engineering projects within the mining industry. Experience in bulk earthworks, and roads.
• Experience in a similar role as an Area Manager, or Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.
• Highly motivated with well-developed skills in problem-solving and written/verbal communication, collaborative working and time/priority management.
