Value driven, for purpose role for experienced leaders, who have experience with Mental Health who are eager to progress into a leadership role

We are looking for experienced Females who have experience leading teams to provide exceptional care for people with complex clinical needs or Mental Health conditions and challenging behaviors. This role reports to a Regional Manager, who supports and trains you.
The Area Manager will be responsible for the following;
- Leadership, development and supervision of a team of Team Leaders & their Disability Support Workers
- Understanding each participant in their area - familiarisation with their NDIS Plan, Budget, Goals and Review dates
- Maintain an understanding of each participant’s BSP, OT, and other Allied Health reports
- Ensure that participant centric training of staff is conducted as and when needed. Connect and liaise with BSP/OT/ISMT staff to coordinate appropriate participant centric training in each situation
- Once SIL Budgets are implemented, monitor P&L expenditure of each home
- Ensure houses operate in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and company policy and procedures.
- Work with Centre Support and Clients/Families to set Goals and Objectives
- Complete a monthly summary report on the situation and progress for each client directly into Maxlife Care’s CRM.
- Ensure high quality record keeping and completeness of internal documents at each house
- Participate in an after hours “on call” roster as required
- Behave with integrity and model company values at all times.
The ideal candidate will ideally have the following experience;
- 2+ years experience within Disability support services or aged care
- Experience in leading & developing teams of support workers
- Understanding of NDIS funding and planning – especially SIL is highly beneficial
- Contemporary understanding of issues facing people with a disability, their families and carers
- Demonstrated organisational skills, to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills & drive
- NSW Drivers License (or similar)
- Attention to detail
