The opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Retail, we are on a mission to find an exceptional Area Manager to join our Review team, to support our QLD based stores.
Key duties and responsibilities:
The Area Manager is responsible for managing the overall performance of the Review stores in their region in line with the business strategy to maximise profitable sales. This is achieved through,
- Developing and implementing tactical plans, providing the leadership necessary to deliver outstanding customer service
- Excellence in people management, visual merchandise management and the effective control of inventory
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by recommending strategies to improve performance across sales, staff, stock & systems
- Drive, coach and deliver exceptional customer service standards for your stores
- Performance Management through achieving KPI targets and ensure staff are aware & trained on the importance of KPI targets and goal setting to achieve them
- Nurturing the growth & development of your direct reports to create a talent pipeline within our retail network
- A capacity to prepare monthly rosters costed to achieve store budgets
- Manage any escalated store or customer complaints if need be, ensuring they're dealt with promptly and professionally
- Be confident managing all aspects of the employee life-cycle
- Assistance with recruitment
The skills and experience you offer us:
- Previous Area Management experience in the retail space
- Proven track record of delivering results, driving sales and engaging your team, with expert knowledge of KPIs
- Strong people management skills; a thorough understanding of performance management
- Commercially minded by nature - able to analyse data, act efficiently and make calculated business decisions
- Change advocate, thinking 'outside the box' to improve and maintain a cutting-edge knowledge of our market
- Self-driven and hungry for growth
- A passion for customers, and ability to organise and engage in internal and external eventing
- Listener / inclusive of team and peers
- Ability to think on your feet and move with a sense of urgency
