YOUR NEW ROLE:
-Embark on an exciting journey in a growing organisation, where unparalleled opportunities await. As an Area Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our commitment to excellence in early learning and education.
-You will be instrumental in providing inspirational leadership and management to a group of Executive Service Managers (ESMs). Your focus will be on ensuring the realisation of exceptional quality learning and education along with meeting desired business targets, and outcomes. Critical to success is your ability to nurture, develop, and coach ESMs, fostering a sustainable and consistent level of performance across all teams and centers.
KEY DELIVERABLES FOR SUCCESS:
-Support services to put effective strategies in place to achieve all commercial targets
-Identify areas of improvements with regards to both business and people performance
-Develop plans and an approach to uplifting performance and people capabilities
-Continuous Improvement of individual, service and group performance through high quality coaching and mentoring
-Ensure performance consistency across service grouping
-Create effective business plans for each service based on quality analysis and insights
-Succession planning and talent management across all levels
-Ensure compliance to regulations and organisational policy and procedure across the grouping
-Identify and address risks and non-compliance
-Support ESM’s to have appropriate processes in place to ensure compliance with safety regulatory requirements
-Develop ESM’s capabilities to identify hazards and manage risks
-Ensure all services have effective strategies in place to implement the National Quality Framework (NQF), the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and other approved -learning frameworks
-Act as brand and culture champion by role modeling WWG vision mission and values internally and externally
-Make a broader contribution to state or national initiatives
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
-Minimum of 3-5 years' successful track record as a Centre Manager or 2 years experience as an Area Manager
-Excellent proven written, verbal and influencing skills
-Strong commercial and business acumen
-Expert in rostering with focus on delivering commercial success
-Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
-Energetic, action oriented with a passion for mentoring and leading teams
-Ability to quickly assess leadership and service performance
-A willingness and ability to travel between services and possess current drivers license
-Knowledge of creative training and mentoring techniques through a background in training (preferred)
-Highly knowledgeable on Local Area Marketing tactics and strategies with proven ability delivering on occupancy targets
-In depth knowledge of Assessment rating and framework with proven experience in identifying quality gaps and enacting improving plans
-Solutions and ideas focused

-Strong collaborative management style
-Diploma of Children’s Services / Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood)
-Child Protection Training, valid WWCC and other certificates
