About the opportunity
As an Area Sales Manager you will lead a dedicated team within your territory through demonstrating effective communication, leadership, relationship building and planning skills.
Responsibilities:
- To lead a dedicated team within your territory through demonstrating effective communication, leadership, relationship building & planning skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor & develop your teams skills.
- To ensure the achievement of your territory sales out budgets, whilst contributing to the state sales in budget.
- To actively build & manage positive business relationships with all Bunnings store key decision makers in your territory.
- Provide effective actioning upon all business development & sales opportunities.
- Understand & effectively manage the Bunnings Key Performance Indicators on a store by store basis, within your designated territory, whilst monitoring competitor activity so that adjustments can be made during the year, allowing you to achieve your sales out budget.
- Make sure you comply with all TTI OH&S and Company procedures, as well as working within the Bunnings Company OH&S guidelines.
- Ensure your activities comply with all relevant acts, legal demands & ethical standards.
Skills and experience required:
- Advanced level understanding of an automated replenishment and/or vendor managed inventory system.
- Advanced level understanding of Salesforce/Sales cloud and/or CRM tool.
- Intermediate level understanding of Outlook & Microsoft Office.
- Minimum 2 years Sales Executive / Representative experience.
