In line with their business expansion, they are seeking an Area Sales Manager with experience in plumbing to join their dynamic team.
As the Area Sale Manager your duties will include:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with existing hydraulic, mechanical, and acoustic engineers, builders, and plumbers.
- Deliver distributor training presentations.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with distributor branch managers, second-in-commands, and counter staff.
- Conduct product events, tool demonstrations, tool box meetings and training seminars with installers.
- Maintain activity records and reports on all phases of field activities as required via Salesforce.com
- Monitor the activity of competitors and report any significant developments to NSM Building Solutions.
- Ensure strong relationships are maintained with key accounts and that their requirements are fulfilled by our client and their exclusive distributor.
- Maintain current knowledge on products, competitive products and other general market information of interest or value to customers.
- Ensure that complaints are followed up and that satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and our client.
- Grow the active monthly accounts (AMA’s) by increasing the customer base.
- Making cold calls to construction and residential sites to introduce products.
- We seek a technically proficient individual with at least three years of sales experience in a medium to large-sized company, ideally with knowledge of plumbing or a related construction market.
- Core competencies should encompass outstanding customer interaction, interpersonal skills, and technical proficiency.
- Additionally, the role requires strong team-building and organizational skills, robust business acumen, problem-solving capabilities, a welcoming approach to customer interactions, and effective communication skills.
