Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of Asbestos Removal projects in the Telecommunications industry including removal of asbestos pit and pipe, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Asbestos Removal teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Conduct site assessments and develop Asbestos Removal plans in accordance with regulatory guidelines and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure clear communication and adherence to project schedules.
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure that all removal activities are performed safely and effectively.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and provide ongoing safety training to team members.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, work logs, and asbestos waste manifests.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
- Stay informed about industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes related to Asbestos Removal.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Asbestos Removal, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Must be able to produce a minimum 6 removal projects in the past 2 years
- Demonstrated knowledge of asbestos regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and state-specific requirements.
- Current asbestos supervisor certification/license (if applicable).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and interact with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
