Your role will be crucial in overseeing the administrative functions and activities associated with monitoring and actioning compliance-related tasks. Your contributions will support the implementation of asset management initiatives, policies, and procedures, providing accurate advice to the Minister for Education, senior executives, managers, and relevant personnel on facility-related issues.Key Responsibilities:
- Apply operational Asset and Facility Services policies, processes, fact sheets, and guidelines to ensure compliance priorities are addressed, monitored, and actioned accurately and promptly.
- Research and provide solutions to relevant issues, refer complex and sensitive queries to the appropriate delegate, and ensure all issues are resolved appropriately.
- Engage with the department’s clients on various infrastructure-related compliance issues (e.g., playground, asbestos audits), and assist in managing annual programs to ensure data, inspections, and corrective actions are handled appropriately.
- Capture and record client inquiries to maintain accurate records using the appropriate asset information system, following the department’s records management protocols.
- Review practices and procedures, recommend improved processes for greater efficiencies, and develop and implement Asset and Facility Services procedures and guidelines to provide effective services to clients and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with departmental personnel, including the Work Health and Safety team, and external stakeholders concerning the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangements (AGFMA).
