Job Title: Project Officer - Ageing Policy Team (Temporary)

Our client is at the forefront of developing and implementing policies that positively impact the lives of seniors in our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Project Officer to join our Ageing Policy Team on a temporary basis.
Role Objective: Reporting to the Principal Policy Officer, Ageing Policy, the Project Officer will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the ageing policy team. This includes actively contributing to the successful execution of the 2024 Ageing Well Community Grants programs and Impact Research Grant program, particularly focusing on Grants for Seniors through the SmartyGrants software platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project administrative support, ensuring efficient processes for grant assessment and execution.
- Collaborate with the team in utilizing ICT software, especially SmartyGrants and Objective.
- Manage administrative tasks associated with the various grants programs, with a specific focus on Grants for Seniors.
- Work with electronic contract and/or grant management systems, e.g., PCMS.
- Contribute to the overall success of the team through effective project support.
- Experience with ICT software, particularly Objective and SmartyGrants.
- Medium to high proficiency in Excel, including data importing and extraction, mail merges, etc.
- Familiarity with electronic contract and/or grant management systems, e.g., PCMS.
- Proven experience in project support.
- Ability to thrive in a high-performing team environment with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
- Strong collaborative skills and a self-starter mentality.
- Initiative and quick learning capabilities, with a growth mindset.
- Independence in working under broad direction, taking responsibility in a high-pressure work environment.
