ABOUT THE ROLE
Exhibiting extensive knowledge of industrial engineering, the Asset Performance and Enhancement Manager will manage the asset data function, including alignment between the Qantas database and the BGIS Manhattan system.
The Asset Performance and Enhancement Manager will lead the Assets Master Data team in audits, asset database management, and sustainability & environment initiatives. This role involves working across functional areas and closely with the Operational Delivery Team to ensure data alignment.
The Asset Performance and Enhancement Manager will oversee the validation, updating, and auditing of data pertaining to client assets that we maintain. Responsibilities include database control, interpreting data from various sources, and assisting with the completion of data audits from the field.
This role requires developing a thorough understanding of various standards, guides, and instructions to manage assets, including hierarchical and relational aspects of asset management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
What are the essential post-secondary qualifications, industry experience, and technical expertise required to meet the key requirements of the role?
Knowledge / Experience:
- Extensive and demonstrable experience and knowledge of Industrial Engineering.
- Extensive and demonstrable experience in data processing and analytics.
- Extensive and demonstrable experience in asset management systems.
- Experience working in large and complex operations.
- Understanding of the structures of asset hierarchies and relationships.
- Knowledge of Defence proprietary systems will be highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualifications in data management, computer sciences, asset management, or similar.
- Additional qualifications will be highly desirable.
