Our client is a large Australian broking house. Conveniently located close to public transport, enjoy a comfortable commute to work and on your lunch break you can enjoy the local amenities in suburban Perth.
- 2+ years of insurance related experience.
- Exposure to classes such as Professional Indemnity Business Packs, Liability and Commercial Motor highly desirable but not essential.
- Prior exposure to the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to take direction from senior staff
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Tier 1 broking preferred.
- Competent in IT and office procedures.
- Winbeat, Sunrise or similar insurance software experience essential.
- Assist with the maintenance of a portfolio of Commercial and Domestic risks.
- Processing quotations, endorsements, renewals and cancellations.
- Proactively act upon new business leads provided by the brokerage
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell and/or up-sell of product to clients
- Working collaboratively with team members.
