Assistant Accountant

Financial Processes: Oversee and optimise financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day operations.

Month-End Support: Contribute to the month-end closing process, including reconciliation, accruals, and financial statement preparation.

Invoices, Claims, Grants: Manage the processing of invoices, claims, and grants, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and funding requirements.

State Government Reports: Generate and analyse financial reports for state government submissions, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Oracle System: Utilise the Oracle system to streamline financial work-flows and maintain data integrity.

Dashboard Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to enhance dashboard reporting, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Part-qualified CPA/CA with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting.
• Proven experience in a large organisational setting, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex financial structures.
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency in using the Oracle system.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
