Great opportunity to work in a well-established ASX- listed organisation based in the Sutherland Shire. Due to their success and growth, they are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their high-performing finance team on a full-time permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with month-end processing including bank & general ledger reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports
- Cash flow reporting
- Assisting with preparation and lodging monthly BAS statements
- Process invoices
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting process
- Handling general enquiries
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Completed Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
