A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join their high performing team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have a broad scope of responsibilities including:
- Assist with month end reporting
- Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Assist in preparing variance analysis comparing actual to budget
- Contribute to year-end financial reporting and liaising with external auditors
- Prepare and submit tax compliant documents - BAS, PAYG, FBT
- Liaising with both financial and non financial stakeholders
- Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as required
To be considered for this role you will be degree qualified, studying towards your CA/CPA and have a minimum of 3-4 years experience within a high performing company or chartered accounting firm. You will also have excellent communication and time management skills, be an analytical thinker and enjoy working as part of a collaborative and committed team.
