About the role:
The core purpose of the Credit Team Leaderis to oversee the daily operations of the Customer Accounts Team to ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices. There is a strong focus on executing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Mentoring and supporting team members and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Design and implement effective collection processes to minimise overdue debt and maximise cash flow.
- Act as a point of contact for escalated issues and build team members to develop effective relationships with key customers.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collections and provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and analyse aging reports to identify overdue and high-risk accounts. Work with key stake holders to maintain up-to-date records of client movements.
- Face-to-face client meetings.
What you'll bring to this role:
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing others
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Commitment to developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- 3-5 years' experience in credit management and collections preferably in B2B Setting
- Bachelor's degree in business/management/communications highly regarded
- Demonstrated passion for process improvement and optimisation in credit systems.
- Advanced Excel skills and the aptitude to quicky learn new systems and processes.
