ALG has a fantastic permanent opportunity for the role of Assistant Accountant based in our Brisbane Office. This entry-level role reports to the Company Accountant and will assist with all areas of finance function, including exposure to various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping
- Bank reconciliation
- A/R and A/P Management.
- Processing General Ledger and day to day accounting transactions.
- Prepare BAS, IAS and payroll tax
- Month-end reconciliation
- Processing Payroll
- Ad hoc projects, including but not limited to finance systems improvement.
Selection Criteria
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business
- Eager to learn with a can-do attitude
- An analytical and creative mind
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proactive, results-driven and able to drive efficiency
- Excel Skill (intermediate to advance level).
- Good Problem-Solving skills
