The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Assistant Accountant to join our friendly and passionate team on a part-time basis three (3) days a week (0.6 FTE - days/time to be discussed upon appointment). In this role you will provide crucial support for the financial operations of our organisation and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and processing month-end reporting
- Reconciliations, budgeting, and assisting with Accounts Payable and Receivable, particularly in the NDIS space.
- Providing assistance with profit & loss management
- Managing inter-company transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Undertaking duties associated with Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting to contribute to a sustainable future.

What We Hope You'll Bring:

- Previous accounting experience
- Qualifications in Finance or Accounting preferred or studying towards CPA accreditation.
- Current employee Working With Children check (WWCC)
- National Police Check (or International Police check if you have lived/worked overseas in the past 5 years).
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Trustworthiness, strong work ethic, respect for others, and unwavering integrity.
