The Grand Hotel has overlooked Portarlington since 1888 and with an extensive renovation now complete, it’s an exciting time to join our team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Accountant will provide support to our finance function for Portarlington Grand Hotel and other businesses under the Little Group banner as required.
This is a full time, hybrid role offering flexible work arrangements, with a minimum of 2 days per week on-site in Portarlington.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable/Payable
- Bank Reconciliation
- Company Credit card reconciliation
- Sales Revenue reconciliation, report on variations if any
- Review stocktake count at month end, spot check stock item and report on variations
- Month end process, assistance with month end reporting
- Gift voucher redemption and reconciliation
- Assistance with Revenue and cost analysis
- Assistance with POS system reporting
- Assistance with Accommodation system reporting
- Assist Financial Controller in performing duties
- General administration duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in Hospitality industry is preferred
- Previous exposure to JDE system is preferred
- Intermediate level of excel and word
