Looking for enthusiastic Assistant Accountants looking to transition from public practice to Commercial with progressive fast growing company!
THE CLIENT
Starting from a family business to now an expanding and fast growing business in Australia. My client is looking for a up and coming, enthusiastic Assistant Accountant who will perform various financial activities across several entities and work closely with the Senior Financial Accountants providing them with assistance. THE ROLE
- Working within a team of 7 assisting Senior Financial Accountant
- Month End Accounting including accurals, prepayments, variance analysis
- Account reconciliation and reporting
- Month end and Year End reporting
- Provide assistance to Accountant, Financial Controller and Finance team as required
- Reconciliations
- Reconcile Trust Accounts and prepare month-end journals
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Adhoc accounting work for the project team
THE PERSON
- Month end Accounting experience
- MYOB would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred but not essential
- Ability to build strong relationships internal and external stakeholders
- Full Working Rights
