We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team.

Our Assistant Accountant assists the finance team in delivering financial reporting across all brands while maintaining a high level of accuracy and integrity to ensure decisions can be made by senior leaders.
The Responsibilities of the role:
- Prepare the cash position report
- Perform all bank reconciliations, ensuring posting journals and bank matching is completed
- Raising ad hoc invoices, as required
- Assist with the preparation and lodgement of worldwide BAS, VAT and Sales Tax returns, monthly income tax, and FBT on a timely basis
- Perform ABS Reporting
- Assist finance team with month-end processing
- Prepare month-end accruals and prepayments with a high level of accuracy
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis
- Provide assistance with external audit
