Therefore, we are excited to invite applications for our newly created role of Compliance Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team out of the Bendigo Head Office.
About the role:
The successful candidate will provide efficient and effective assistance with the Company’s Compliance and Regulatory Reporting requirements.
Duties involved but not limited to:
- Participate in review of documentation and currency to ensure systems reflect and are meeting current operational objectives.
- Participate in review of, and conduct, risk assessments for rail operations and associated activities.
- Assist statutory compliance with reporting, including periodic and event basis.
- Assist with development and deployment of safety alerts and notices.
- Liaise with various parties for management of interface agreements and currency of registers.
- Updating of various incident / injury and hazard registers and document management systems.
- Conduct of internal audits to support quality and compliance processes.
- Assist with investigations with collation of evidence and report writing.
- Supporting drug and alcohol testing regime management and compliance.
- Support Asset Team with systems assistance, including development and updating of information records.
- Support external audit process with regulatory bodies with preparation and participation.
- Support change management process with internal stakeholders.
- Other duties as required.

- Prior experience in similar role.
- Experience with meeting regulatory compliance obligations.
