Assistant Administrator - Emerald Preschool & Community Kindergarten

Emerald Preschool & Community Kindergarten (affiliated with Lady Gowrie QLD)  is a community based, not-for-profit Early Education centre. 

We are seeking an Assistant Administrator to join our Kindergarten

The Role:

• Be a welcoming face to the kindergarten families and team each morning and afternoon
• Responding to basic enquiries
• Supporting the administrative tasks of the kindy such as basic data entry, photocopying, laminating, filing and answering the phone
• Undertaking adhoc tasks as required.

Key Selection Criteria

• Basic knowledge Microsoft applications, including Work, Excel, Outlook and related computer skills 
• Good organisational skills and able to manage a number of tasks at one time;
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to relate to parents, children and staff with warmth and respect;
• Ability to be helpful and show initiative 
• A willingness to work as a reliable and collaborative team member
• Current Blue Card or ability to obtain 

Experience in working in an education setting an advantage but not essential.
