This role will oversee the logistics and execution of private banquets, corporate and social events in purpose built facilities and within our stunning venues: Paper Crane, Rocco and The Calypso Club.
Based at Crystalbrook Riley and reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, this position is responsible for supporting and coordinating all conference and events within the venues to deliver an excellent guest experience whilst optimising sales, evaluating performance, ensuring correct staffing levels all whilst maintaining positive relationships with our visitors and guests. The position is varied and highly visible and because of this, the role will be of interest to those energised by our personality, environments and values.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, we welcome interest from individuals with relevant, pre-established conference and events leadership experience preferably from the Hotels, Hospitality and/or the Tourism sector. You will display an exceptional service ethos and be motivated to consistently exceed the expectations of our guests. With a head full of ideas and a forward-thinking perspective around brand awareness and modern communication drivers, you will be an energetic, team-centric professional who operates with positive optimism.
To be successful in this role, you should be available to work across a 7 day roster which will include weekends, evenings and public holidays.
This is a full time and permanent position – we are unable to consider individuals on short term work visas.
