Assistant Facilities Manager Temp - Perm Approx.$1400+ pw

Workfast is looking for an experienced Assistant Facility Manager to join their Commercial Accommodation Maintenance team in Chatswood & Redfern NSW. 
 
About the job:

• Temp - Perm opportunity
• $37 hr + Overtime + Super
• Mon to Fri (Sat as required)
• Tools Provided

About you:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of trade experience, be reliable, hardworking with good customer service skills. This job is a casual position with full-time hours.

• Responsible for ensuring overall resident satisfaction in respect to ensuring the Properties' Facilities are maintained and remain in good order.
• Provide day-to-day hands-on maintenance to ensure quality maintenance is completed in a timely manner
• Keep and monitor inventory of spare parts and commonly required equipment
• Induction of external contractors and management of their work
• Ensure all residents’ maintenance requests are actioned promptly and courteously
• Provide WH&S services at the Properties and liaise with the General Manager, Facilities.
• Patching holes
• Fixing Doors
• General Repairs

What you need:

• Strong Computer literacy skills
• Experience in General Maintenance
• Hand Power tool experience
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to conduct minor repairs to the properties (carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repairs, painting etc.).
• Good time management skills so that FM services at the properties are consistently managed and delivered.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel) and StarRez.
• Experience in Mechanical, Electrical or Carpentry trade
• Clear Police Check 
• WWCC
