About the Role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be assisting the finance team in providing accurate and precise financial reporting, which will include:
- Financial accounting services include journal processing, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger close, and basic reporting required during end of month processes.
- Bank reconciliations, assisting with a range of different journals.
- Assist with investigating and resolving transactional issues and internal accounting processes or control issues.Support the wider finance team with accounting and reporting queries.
- Ad hoc projects/tasks as required.
About you
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Studying towards CPA or CA qualification.
- Available to start within short notice (maximum 2 weeks)
