KBSC is an established not-for-profit organisation with over 65 years of service to the local community. Along with its accredited and award-winning sailing offering, KBSC operates 3 additional hospitality venues in the area, and has a solid history of providing great food and service to our members, locals and visitors.

The Clubhouse, nestled beachside between Yeppoon’s CBD and Keppel Bay, will offer magnificent views of Yeppoon main beach, Keppel Bay and the Keppel Islands located at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. The new venue will continue to deliver exceptional food and beverage service that our community have come to enjoy, however The Clubhouse will also offer bespoke function / convention packages and special celebration offerings never before seen in the region. 

We are looking to fill our Kitchen Team for our new venue “The Clubhouse”.  We are recruiting for and Assistant Head Chef, Sous Chefs (x 3) and Chefs (x 3).  If you are interested in joining our team and working with our world class Head Chef you might be who we are looking for.

Who We Are Looking For

You will have a strong background in working and leading kitchens and be able to contribute productively to assist in delivering successful small, medium and large functions and events and a busy Bistro and Café (7 day operation). Our leaders are passionate about hospitality and strive to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.  We lead by example and thrive to see all staff develop and grow within our business. 

We’re looking for a reliable, optimistic and team players who has a proven record of working successfully in a high paced kitchen team.
