We have partnered with a large government department client to assist in their search for a Level 5 Assistant Management Accountant. This role is located in central Perth CBD and has a focus on budget analysis and preparation. We require you to be immediately available and able to begin work as soon as possible.
Your new role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Budget analysis and monthly reports
- Assist in preparation of budget and forecasts
- Financial modelling
- Report on budget variances
- Liaise internal and externally
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a similar position is required, as is:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Well-developed literacy and numerical skills
- A current NPC from the last 6 months
