Role: Assistant Manager
Paul Sadler Swimland Parkwood Green is looking for an Assistant Manager to work alongside the Manager and continue to drive the performance of this already successful business.
Working in a fun & lively environment, as the Assistant Manager of this 7 day a week facility, you will have the opportunity to let your vibrant personality and love of working with kids shine.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the company's key performance indicators by delivering an exceptional in-centre experience. You will have some leadership experience, warm to a challenge and be excited by the chance to develop a career that will provide many opportunities for your growth, development and advancement.
You will have great interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator across all levels of the business. You will be able to collaborate with all levels of the business and learn with your team, tackling complex challenges and making strategic decisions in ambiguous situations.
You understand the importance of great culture and you will actively contribute and build adaptability and resilience within the team.
Responsibilities
- Build effective relationships with associates, peers and supervisor to develop a high performing team
- Analyse reporting and business trends to make strategic decisions to drive results
- Run the operations of our Learn to Swim program
- Directly supervise the business, ensuring, and maintaining high quality standards
- Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback to all levels of team members
Qualifications / Selection Criteria
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong verbal or written communication skills
- Swim Teacher experience essential
- Strong leadership skills, with some experience in building successful teams and developing a high-performance culture.
- Passion for swimming
Please know that this role’s hours are based on 38 hrs/week however due to our operations you will need to be available to work weekends and weekday nights.
