About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Gallery Manager & Assistant for the internationally acclaimed Melbourne artist, Vincent Fantauzzo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the artist’s daily schedule, including booking meetings, travel arrangements, and other essential appointments.
- Handle the logistical aspects of gallery showcases and other related events, ensuring they are executed flawlessly.
- Develop and oversee the artist's commercial engagements, including negotiations and the management of commissioned works.
- Provide administrative support and serve as a primary point of contact between the artist and external stakeholders.
- Assist in strategising and implementing marketing and sales initiatives to enhance the artist's presence in the art community.
This role is ideal for an art enthusiast aiming to break into the art industry, or a Personal / Executive Assistant looking to broaden their expertise and transition into the gallery environment. The perfect candidate will have a deep passion for the arts coupled with sharp commercial acumen.
