How will you make an impact in this role?
The Acquisition Marketing Cross Sell & Lead Optimisation team is responsible for expanding our existing customer relationships and maximising the performance of our Telesales acquisition channel. The team’s primary functions are to 1) leverage customer and prospect data & insights to identify the most desirable prospects for our commercial products and 2) to enable new CRM capabilities to drive strong Sales conversion rates. The team embodies a fast-paced and dynamic culture, operates nimbly and embraces teamwork, accountability, flexibility, and a will-to-win attitude.
This position reports to the Marketing Manager, Lead Optimisation, available to start immediately.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the continued development and management of our Sales Email Library and Email Marketing prospect journeys, as well as the identification of additional opportunities to enhance our CRM capabilities for Australia and New Zealand. The goal of the position is to drive new corporate and small business acquisition for the company through the optimisation of all prospect/lead journeys, by delivering Sales email templates, automated marketing campaigns, and connecting these to live Sales touchpoints to keep prospects engaged and interested throughout the Sales cycle.
The role is varied and the ideal candidate should be able to implement as below:
- Strategy: Support the Marketing Manager to develop and execute channel strategy to achieve daily KPIs and overall channel goals.
- Channel Management: Develop creative briefs in coordination with external agency partners, and act as first point of review for all new prospect Email Marketing creative. Engage internal and external marketing technology partners to upload approved creative to CRM platform. Collaborate with Compliance, Sales, and Sales Governance stakeholders to train Sales teams to leverage content appropriately. Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Technology to develop and implement.
- Stakeholder Management: Clearly communicate channel & campaign objectives to junior and senior stakeholders on a regular basis to influence decisions, gain alignment on next steps, and drive effective collaboration.
- Campaign Reporting: Track results and drive performance of campaigns by sharing insights and providing ongoing training to sales teams to increase internal engagement and adherence to best practices.
- 5 years’ experience in a creative marketing role, with minimum 2 years B2B experience, including hands-on experience with Email Marketing campaigns.
- Ability to analyse and present Marketing campaign and/or Sales performance
- Direct experience working with agency partners to execute creative campaigns
- Project management skills to ensure deadlines and requirements are clearly communicated to and met by all stakeholders
- Ability to interact within and across teams with colleagues at various level (from peers up to senior/executive management) and be able to work collaboratively to achieve project objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, with a focus on thorough, clear documentation of requests for data and technology teams to support the objectives of the role.
- Experience working in or with remote global teams.
- MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience essential.
- Salesforce Admin certification or other Salesforce certifications not required, but ideal
- Graduate degree in Marketing, Commerce or Business Management, or similar
