About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager – Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage Management team in the day-to-day operation of QPAC’s restaurants, bars and functions ensuring high standards of service delivery, profitability and efficiency.
Key components of this role include being an escalation point for customer feedback, and accountable for the implementation and evaluation of service standards, the speed and style of presentation in outlets and in functions, along with providing consistent product and hygiene standards to ensure organisational guidelines are met. In addition, you will assist with staff development and management.
Please note, this is not a 9 to 5 position. It will require the individual to have a high degree of flexibility in their work times, as the majority of shifts are rotated over seven (7) days, predominantly during evenings and weekends.
About You:
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, customer service-oriented individual with previous experience leading a large team in a hospitality, customer service and profitable operations setting.
Experience in large multi-outlet function/restaurant/hotel operations and a degree/diploma in hospitality management will be considered very favourably.
In addition, the successful applicant will possess:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver under pressure and cope with a rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise, negotiate, and communicate effectively with all levels of the business community to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure organisational guidelines and financial targets are met.
- A current nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in ‘Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol’ or ‘RMLV’, or the ability to obtain this within 30 days of commencement.
- Proven ability to monitor and maintain consistent standards relating to quality, presentation and hygiene ensuring satisfactory guest experience.
