Position Summary
The Associate Midiwfery Unit Manager (AMUM) is a clinical leader within the midiwfery team, providing clinical coordination, resource management and ensuring patient flow on each shift. The AMUM will champion best practice women centered care and display strong leadership and communication skills to promote team cohesion and engagement. Will actively contribute to multiple portfolios aligned with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. The AMUM supports the Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) to implement quality, safety and improvement programs within the unit and participates in continuous review and evaluation of clinical care provided.
Requirements of the position are:
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
- Flu Vaccination
