AddressNumbers Executive is currently working with a Global Private Markets advisor focussing exclusively on primary fundraising, secondary transactions and GP capital advisory across private equity, unlisted infrastructure, private debt and venture capital sectors. Due to expansion of their Melbourne office, an Associate is currently sought on a 12 month contract basis.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to directly support the Managing Director with Institutional Investor coverage, supporting engagements across fund placement, secondary mandates, growth advisory and sustainable investing advisory. Day to day you will shadow all activities, gaining unrivalled insight into the private capital markets. Typical activities will include:
- Conducting and updating research on LP and GP landscape
- Pre- mandate fund analysis and due diligence
- Reviewing of proposals
- Identifying new mandate opportunities
- Screening unsolicited approaches
- Coordinating and printing pitch books for distribution
- Coordination of roadshows
- Assisting with project managing fund raising mandates
Required Skills & Experience
We are seeking a Tertiary qualified individual (with an exemplary academic record), likely with 2-4 years professional experience gained in a client service focused environment (e.g Accounting Firm, Fund Manager). The successful candidate will have gained excellent exposure to financial analysis, report writing, research and project management and will be highly organised, commercially savvy and possess a proactive, ‘can do’ mindset. Furthermore, strong attention and excellent communication and presentation skills are also required.
