Work with Us. Change the World.

At AECOM, we're delivering a better world. We are the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, partnering with clients to solve the world’s most complex challenges and build legacies for future generations.

Providing sustainable water solutions for a better world.

For decades AECOM has been providing water system services throughout ANZ with a focus on emerging technology and innovation. We are industry leaders in asset management as well as the full range of infrastructure and service planning, design, and construction.

The successful candidate will help drive the implementation of AECOM’s Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) Water Strategy.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors.
  • You will guide and mentor junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.

About You

You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships within AECOM and our clients, whether through project work, business development initiatives or industry associations.

You are positive, looking at challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering – Essential.  CPEng highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and meeting delivery requirements.
  • Commercial acumen, strong business analysis skills and the ability to interpret and understand complex financial systems and reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying new innovative business development opportunities and turning these into wins.
  • Ability to work collaboratively at both an internal and external, client-facing level, developing new client relationships and maintaining existing networks within the business.
  • Mentoring junior engineers.
