Associate Director Of Sales

We are a contemporary style 4.5 star comfort hotel conveniently located in the very heart of Melbourne on fashionable Collins Street close to the Town Hall, Federation Square and retail and theatre districts. Featuring 380 guest rooms and suites, bar and restaurant, swimming pool and gym with 8 flexible conference & function venues feature state-of-the-art, conference technology. The ballroom accommodates events of up to 400 delegates in a theatre-style setup or 230 guests for banquets.

Supporting the Director of Commercial and the commercial team in day to day Sales & Marketing functions with tasks consisting of:

• Managing strategy and key accounts for MICE market segment
• Providing active support to Groups, Corporate and Conference & Events Sales Team
• Establishing Sales objectives, action plans and targets
• Liaising with Accor Local, National and Global Sales Teams
• Active involvement in preparation of overall Sales plan
• Support Marketing initiatives

• Proven Sales experience within the Hospitality or Travel industries
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering
• Strong organisational and time management skills
