The Hotel
The Novotel & Ibis Styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel opening on 1 July 2024. The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms, will be located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport. Guests will enjoy access to a wellness centre including an elite gym, pool, and spa offering. The hotel will offer conference rooms, co working space and three food & beverage venues which form the hub of the mixed-use precinct. The precinct will be a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialise for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.
The Role
Supporting the Director of Sales & Marketing and the commercial team in the day-to-day Sales & Marketing activities consisting of (not limited to)
- Develop new business opportunities and strategy for key accounts in the corporate, MICE, groups, residential conferencing, inbound and wholesale market segment(s).
- Provide support to the sales, conference, events, marketing, revenue and reservations team.
- Develop and establish sales objectives, action plans and targets.
- Liaising with Accor Local, National and Global sales teams.
- Active involvement in sales and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a senior sales capacity.
- Experience in negotiation within hotel sales.
- Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills.
- Understanding of some or all hotel market segments and current trends.
- Understanding of branding and positioning of Hotels within the market.
