You will join the Group Treasury Chief Operating Office, a specialist team tasked with further developing and executing on Group Treasury's strategy and its key business priorities. Reporting into the Group Treasury Chief Operating Officer, you will be highly influential, interacting with the Global Treasury team, Co-Heads and Leadership.

What role will you play?

As a senior leader in the COO team, you will be tasked with managing critical operational deliverables leading a small team. You will be leading strategic planning, headcount planning, capital expenditure budgeting and forecasting of business requirements for the function while building and maintaining strong relationships with the Finance team. This includes coordinating and drafting relevant financial and headcount reporting requirements on behalf of the COO and Group Treasury business.

Central to your role will be people management and leadership, you be responsible for executing upon Group Treasury's global people strategy including talent management, diversity equity and inclusion, junior talent programs, resourcing support and business resilience. Partnering closely with HR and the business leads you be supporting operating model changes and implementation and ensuring effective workforce planning across Group Treasury.

Utilising your extensive experience, you will be supporting the Group Treasury leadership team to develop and execute upon the group strategy and play a key role in driving a technology-enabled and data-centric approach to working across all of Group Treasury. Using your data skillset, you be responsible for developing clear standards and consistency across all reporting provided to senior management and championing Financial Management Group's vision, goals, and cultural pillars, promoting a shared commitment to the strategic direction of Group Treasury and the Financial Management Group.

As an influential member of the team, you will be strategically guiding the development of Group Treasury's internal communications strategy to ensure consistency of message, utilisation of channels (such as Workplace) and timely delivery of key people/ strategic updates while improving effectiveness and efficiency across Group Treasury by developing systems for workflow management and driving improvements in the way we work. You will also be providing the Group Treasury leadership team with clear visibility of team and leadership priorities and supporting in the execution of these, and partnering with senior management to develop timely, accurate and insightful analyses, metrics and forecast to support strategic decision making.

What you offer

  • At least 10 years' experience in Business Management or Operations including direct experience in financial and budget management
  • A proven track record of leading and developing high performing teams
  • Ability to confidently deal with senior leaders with strong influencing and negotiation skills at all levels
  • Ability to execute on strategy whilst maintaining a strong commercial lens on performance
  • A collaborative 'one team' approach, building mutual partnerships and trust with stakeholders
  • Operate with high degrees of autonomy and proactivity and manage ambiguity
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast paced business with changing needs with critical problem solving skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
