The Opportunity:
We are looking for a experienced, proactive Associate Director to join our Transport Advisory team within our Sydney planning business unit. You will have a good understanding of traffic engineering in the context or urban and regional transport systems. Able to provide a range of services including advice relating to traffic engineering assessment and design, freight and logistics and development impacts.
This role will work closely and be supported by experienced Director of Transport Advisory. As a member of the Transport senior team, you will also play a part in supporting employee growth & development.
You will:
Provide a range of services including advice relating to traffic engineering, land use/transport integration, approval processes and management.
Provide advanced traffic engineering and management principles, with the ability to apply them, including advice relating to land use/transport planning, transport network design for active, public, freight and private modes, due diligence assessments, master plans and the approval process & management.
Support the delivery of strategic Transport Advisory projects & other national initiatives.
Provide technical and management support to the Transport Advisory team.
Proactively identify opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Unit's across Urbis & Cistri.
Generating new work and profitable business performance, through the maintenance and building upon new and existing client relationships.
Nurturing and developing individual staff members, through effective coaching and mentoring.
About You:
Tertiary qualification in Traffic Engineering or Transport Planning
Relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
Proven ability to management and develop team member,
Proven track record of identifying and winning new business, or proven record of building new clients and business in Sydney.
