What You Will Be Doing
The successful applicants will become an integral part of the Surgery and Operating Suite Management team, providing leadership and guidance in relation to their speciality’s services. They will demonstrate high level perioperative nursing experience, effective leadership skills, management experience, and possess the ability to influence the environment for their speciality’s services through improvements to systems and processes within an integrated model of operating.
A component of the ANUM role is an expectation to undertake a share of floor management shifts and thus an understanding of the overall perioperative environment is also required.>
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years post graduate experience in Endoscopic/Perioperative nursing
- Proven Admissions Clinical Experience
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Knowledge and commitment to quality improvement principles
- Polite and considerate in dealing with others.
- Accepts responsibilities for own actions.
- Supports individuals and the team, delegating responsibilities appropriately.
- Understands the issues and pressures to which the organisation has to respond.
- Prepares written documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team
