This role supports the sustainability and growth of EML’s National Self Insurance portfolio by ensuring all significant regulatory and audit risks of the business are being adequately and appropriately mitigated by Operations, and to provide value to the business through commercially sound audit recommendations.
The role will monitor and deliver on EML’s performance targets and organisational objectives by ensuring the highest levels of operational discipline, along with robust application of the legislation and self-insurance licence compliance, are delivered across the NSI business.
This will be a full time, permanent position based from any of ouroffices, with flexibility to work from home once fully trained.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct quality assurance reviews in line with the self-insurance internal audit program.
- Deliver effective feedback to Case Managers and Leaders to enable training and coaching to improve compliance while providing ongoing assistance and training to operational staff.
- Identify potential risks and issues by applying your knowledge of industry trends and emerging risks while evaluating both individual and organisational development needs
Creating and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, internal clients and the leadership team by displaying our values and behaviours.
- Support ensuring that processes, procedures, guidelines and standards are maintained in accordance with client, regulatory and governance requirements.
ABOUT YOU
- Significant experience in the Workers Compensation industry (2+ years) encompassing claims and supporting functions is mandatory
- Experience in navigating multiple jurisdiction requirements will be advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in Risk, Audit, Quality Assurance, or similar role, working within a fast-paced business environment is desirable but not required
- Demonstrate advanced communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills alongside evaluation, and problem-solving abilities
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products.
